Department of Economic Theory
History of establishment and functioning of the department of economic theory.
Department of Economic Theory of LDFA was established by the order of the rector № 70-OD since 27.08.1999. According to this order its staff includes associate professors Honchar Y.M., Hupalo O.G., Stefanyshyn O.V., candidates of economic sciences Hnatenko Y.G., Hrabynska I.V., Karbovnyk O.I., Opelbaum Y.Sh., Plotnikov M. M., senior lecturers Balahurak U.D., Kovtun L.P. The first head of the department was associate professor c.e.s. Stefanyshyn O.V (1999-2002.).
From 2002 to 2003, acting the role of head of the department served c.e.s. Hnatenko Y.H.
Since 2003 to present time the head of the department is associate professor, c.e.s. Hupalo O.H. Since the establishment of the department in its staff at different times worked a professor, a.p.e.s. Bashnyanyn H.I., associate professors Proshak V.V., Ostroverkh P.I, Pak N. T., Yukish V.V. In the 2006-2007 academic year, the staff of the department was replenished by the associate professor, c.e.s. Dulyuk V. H. and assistant Prokopovych S.M.
Earlier in 2003 to the department moved to work a senior lecturer Kulyk O.I. who was before this time the member of the department of social and humanitarian sciences.
At the present time the staff of the department consists of 10 members:
Associate professors, c.e.s. – 5, c.e.s. – 1,
Senior lecturers – 3,
Assistants – 1.
In addition there are always working a senior analyst Vasylieva N.P., and analyst Buhera O.V.
