Evolution, development and accomplishments
The Economics and Entrepreneurship Department is one of the most significant educational units of Lviv State Academy of Finance at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
The Economics and Entrepreneurship Department first of all aims at providing modern “economic expertise” and ability not to get lost in the vast ocean of hypotheses, ideas, theories, concepts, facts, statistical data, entrepreneurial and management entities and the rest of the things denoted by the term “economics and entrepreneurship”. The Department deems it crucial to teach students to select the “necessary knowledge”, search for it with the help of advanced educational innovations of modern information systems and apply their skills and expertise both in their professional activities as financiers or economists and everyday life.
The teaching staff of the Economics and Entrepreneurship Department realizes that their students need to gain an in-depth knowledge of economics to be experts in their fields. Thus since the establishment of the Department they have aimed at giving students the relevant training.
