The IV International Scientific Practical Conference
Zhmurkevych A. Ye., the Candidate of Economic Sciences, the Head of the Scientific and Research Department of LSAF
Scientific work is the nearest way to self-realization and increasing of self-estimation and authority in the society, its mutual respect between the participants of scientific research process, realizing of personal necessity and the possibility to show own abilities as well as to persist (defend) own points of view.
During the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of LSAF on the 19-20th of October, 2007 the fourth International Scientific and Practical Conference ”The Problems of Development of Ukraine”s Financial System in the Conditions of European Integration” was held. About 200 scientists from many Ukrainian regions (Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Simferopol, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Lviv) and foreign participants from Poland and Hungary took part in the conference.
The conference was opened by the rector of LSAF, professor P. Buryak. At the session famous scientists, the representatives of the state authority and business made their reports. Among their number there was the rector of Lviv Economics and Tourism Institute professor I. Bochan, the head of the finance department of the State University “Lviv Polytechnics” professor I. Alekseev, the head of the department of informational systems in management of Ivan Franko Lviv State University professor V. Yurynets, the chief of the Controlling and Inspection Service in Lviv Region M. Dyba, the chief of the regional administration of Accounting Chamber of Ukraine in Lviv , Volyn”, Rivne and Ternopil regions assistant professor V. Pikhotskyi, pro-rector fo scientific and pedagogical work of the Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade professor R. Motoryn, the deputy of Lviv Regional Rada, the President of the Association of Employers Z. Bermes, pro-rector for educational work of Ternopil State Economic University professor V. Lutsiv, the chief of the Applied Informatics Department professor D. Sankovskyi, the head of the Dimensional Development Department of Jaroslavl” State Higher School of Professional Education professor V. Fedan, the head of the department of informational analytical providing and economic mathematical modelling at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine the assistant professor V. Pleskach, the head of the department of financial analysis and control of Kyiv State Trade and Economics University professor Ye. Mnykh and others.
In the sections the actual problems of state finances development, finances of enterprising structures, financial market, accounting, analysis, audit of financial and economic activities of the subjects of economy as well as of the use of informational technologies and economic mathematical methods in the financial science, social humanitarian development of the society were discussed.
Taking into consideration the results of the reports and the discussions the organizational committee worked out the recommendations concerning solving the problems of the financial system development in the activization of Euro-integration processes. The main role in the decision of the pointed problems belongs to the state authority administration bodies of all the levels which guarantee the efficiency of the state financial policy in the realization of institutional and structural reforms in Ukraine. The necessity of the creation of favourable conditions for the effective development of all the components of the Ukrainian financial system and increasing of the level of its adaptation to the European standards was proved. The recommendations of the conference were published in the “Visnyk” of LSAF and sent to the ministry of Finance. The considerable part of the materials of the conference and the reports summarized in the form of scientific articles will be printed in the above mentioned manual.
